HAMILTON, N.Y. — Mat Harris scored his first career goal midway through the first period and goalie Linden Marshall took care of the rest as RPI forced a third game in the opening round of the ECAC Hockey playoffs with a 1-0 win Saturday at the Class of 1965 Arena.
Marshall finished with 29 saves for his first career shutout. The eleventh-seeded Engineers finished the game five-for-five on the penalty kill.
Colton Point had 25 saves for the sixth-seeded Raiders. Game 3 will be at 7 p.m. Sunday.
