PRINCETON, N.J. — Cydney Roesler scored twice and Nicole Brown tallied two points as Quinnipiac defeated Princeton, 4-2, on Saturday at Hobey Baker Rink.

Princeton got on the board first after Molly Contini won a puck battle in front and netted her first of the year through traffic at 18:43, assisted by Kiersten Falck and Kimiko Marinacci.

After the teams traded second period goals, the Bobcats scored two quick goals 1:40 apart early in the third. First, Roesler tied the game on a cross-ice feed from Taryn Baumgardt set up by Brown, and then Brown gave the Bobcats the lead for good on a nice give-and-go with Nicole Kosta.

Taylar Cianfarano added her ninth goal of the year for the Bobcats, and Roesler’s second of the game was an empty-netter, as Princeton pulled goaltender Kimberly Newell for the extra attacker.

Sydney Rossman improved to 7-1-3 with 18 saves in the win for the Bobcats. Newell made 18 saves for Princeton.
