Mitchell’s last-minute goal gives RIT tie with Niagara

Stephen Pietrobon scored a pair of third-period goals for the Purple Eagles (3-22-3, 3-16-3 Atlantic Hockey), who rallied from a 3-1 deficit to take a 4-3 lead with 3:59 remaining.

But the Tigers (11-12-5, 10-7-5) scored late and survived a Niagara power play in the final 1:29 of overtime.

Jackson Teichroeb stopped 43 shots for the Purple Eagles. Mike Rotolo made 20 saves for RIT.
