DE PERE, Wis. — St. Norbert broke things open with a three-goal second period, and six players scored as the Green Knights routed Adrian 7-2 on Saturday in the NCAA quarterfinals.
Joe Perry scored the first and last goals for St. Norbert, which earned its ninth trip to the national semifinals in the last 12 years.
Cullen Bradshaw, Ross Pavek and Chris Rial scored in the second period, turning a 2-0 game into a 5-0 rout.
Erik Cooper and Michael Hill also scored for the Green Knights (26-3-1), who got 12 saves from David Jacobson.
Scott Shackell made 33 saves for the Bulldogs (22-3-4).
