Doyle scores twice as Colgate erases 3-0 deficit, beats Princeton

Katie Case broke a 4-4 tie in the third period, and Colgate rallied from a three-goal first-period deficit for a 6-4 victory over Princeton on Saturday.

Melissa Kueber, Rachel Walsh and Shannon Doyle scored second-period goals for the Raiders (5-8-1, 2-4-1 ECAC Hockey) to erase the Tigers’ 3-0 lead.

Sally Butler scored a power-play for Princeton (4-5-1, 3-4-1) in the third period for a 4-3 advantage, but Jocelyn Simpson evened things again less than three minutes later.

Doyle added her second goal of the game into an empty net.
