The Minnesota Wild has signed free-agent forward Nico Sturm to a one-year, entry-level contract for the remainder of the 2018-19 season.
Sturm led Clarkson in scoring and assists with 45 points (14 goals, 31 assists) in 39 games during his junior season.
Overall, Sturm collected 103 points (36 goals, 67 assists) and was a plus-47 in 118 games during three seasons with the Golden Knights.
