The Big Ten announced Monday that Penn State junior defenseman Kenny Johnson has been suspended for one game as a result of an incident that occurred in a game against Army West Point on Jan. 1.

The action was taken by the conference after a review of an incident that occurred with no time remaining in the third period and resulted in the player receiving a major penalty for clipping and a game misconduct.

Johnson is ineligible to play in Penn State’s next game against Notre Dame on Jan. 7.
