Bentley hires former Wesleyan assistant Needham to same role with Falcons

Bentley announced Friday that Stephen Needham has been hired as an assistant coach.

Needham comes to Bentley after two years as the head coach at Albany Academy in Albany, N.Y. He was also an assistant coach at Wesleyan for three years from 2014 to 2017.

Needham earned his master’s degree at Wesleyan. During the 2016-17 season there, he coached the team’s penalty kill unit to a nation’s-best 91.6 percent.

Previously, Needham earned his bachelor’s degree from Worcester State in business administration in 2013.
