ECAC Hockey on Tuesday announced that Cornell freshman forward Kristin O’Neill has been assessed a one-game suspension as the result of her actions in the Cornell-Clarkson game from Sunday, March 5.
The league action was taken after review of an incident that occurred at the 18:40 mark of the third period of the game where O’Neill was assessed a penalty for cross-checking.
Based upon the league’s action, O’Neill is not eligible to compete in the Big Red’s next game on Saturday, March 11, when Cornell travels to Clarkson.
