Bowdoin announced Friday that Holly Lorms has been named a women’s assistant coach. Lorms graduated in 2011 from Boston University and captained the 2010-11 team that finished as national runners-up. ECAC director of officiating Paul Stewart has joined the Kontinental Hockey League as a consultant and as an advisor to KHL president Alexander Medvedev on judicial matters. He will stay with the ECAC in his current role.
The Robert Morris women’s team announced Monday the promotion of Ashley Harper to volunteer assistant coach. During the 2001-12 season, she served as the hockey operations manager for the Colonials.
Hockey East has announced that 2012 Northeastern grad Kristen Blake has been hired as the conference’s graduate intern for the upcoming 2012-2013 season. She will assist in event management, marketing and media relations in both the men’s and women’s leagues in the Wakefield, Mass., office.

Hockey Canada named St. Cloud State assistant women’s coach Jim Fetter head coach of its women’s under-18 team for the 2013 world championship that will be held in January in Finland. Mercyhurst has locked up both its men’s coach Rick Gotkin and women’s coach Mike Sisti through the 2015-16 season as each signed contract extensions Tuesday with the Lakers.
