The RIT-Mercyhurst women’s game scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 31 at 5 p.m. has been postponed and rescheduled for Saturday, Feb. 2 at 1 p.m. This was a rescheduled game from Jan. 19.
Candace and Nicole discuss Ohio State’s crushing losses to Minnesota, the youth at Northeastern and Princeton, Cornell’s chances at an ECAC crown, the grind of the long season, and possible Patty Kazmaier Award nominees.
Minnesota crushed Ohio State to sweep an important series, Lauren Gabel got her 100th career goal as Clarkson put the pressure on ECAC leader Princeton, and Annie Pankowski notched her 100th career point in Wisconsin’s sweep of St. Cloud State.
No. 2 Minnesota travels to Columbus to face No. 7 Ohio State, while No. 6 Cornell and No. 8 Colgate square off in a home-and-home. Candace and Nicole pick the weekend’s games.
With Jesse Compher leading the way, Boston University is back in the hunt for an NCAA tournament berth, something that seemed highly unlikely after a poor start to the season. Compher’s prolific scoring is one reason for the turnaround.

Two CHA women’s games have updated their game times for Saturday due to the expected snowstorm.The RIT-Mercyhurst game now starts at noon instead of 1 p.m., while Robert Morris-Syracuse is now a 1 p.m. start, bumped two hours from the original 3 p.m. start time.
