An injury to a player for No. 20 North Dakota that didn’t draw a penalty on No. 1 St. Cloud drew the ire of many on Friday, but the vantage point of properly positioned officials and limitations on how replay can be used explain why there wasn’t a call. Denver swept Western Michigan leaving the Pioneers as the only unbeaten team (5-0-1).

Jeff Jackson earned his 300th win at Notre Dame in his 14th season with 2-1 win over Ohio State on Saturday.

Minnesota State stayed red hot with a sweep of Minnesota.

North Dakota swept Wisconsin, winning four in a row after 0-2-1 start.

Holy Cross believed to have its largest crowd in Hart Center history (2,502) for 3-0 loss vs. Providence

UMass and Providence continue to roll, will meet up Thursday and Saturday.

And UConn announced funding for a new arena, which will be only 2,500-3,500 seats, but they supposedly have waiver from Hockey East. They’ll continue to play some/all men’s games at XL Center in Hartford.
