TRENTON, N.J. — Colton Phinney made 38 saves as Princeton beat Maine 3-1 in the third-place game of the Capital City Classic on Saturday.

Kyle Rankin, Joe Grabowski and Ben Foster scored for the Tigers (1-1).

Dane Gibson scored and Rob McGovern stopped 22 shots for the Black Bears (0-4-3).
