The Golden Knights got on the board first at 13:15 of the opening stanza, as Troy Josephs created a turnover at the blue line, and Terrance Amorosa quickly blasted a shot from the point for his first goal of the year.
The Tigers answered back early in the second, as Kesselman corralled a pass from behind the net, passed the puck to Tom Kroshus at the left point, and then found himself wide open on goaltender Greg Lewis’ stick side to receive the pass from Kroshus to knot the game 1-1.
At 7:06 of the third, Princeton netted the game winner on an icing call that was negated due to the hustle of Jonathan Liau. As Liau went crashing to the boards along with Clarkson’s Paul Geiger, Liau got the puck into the slot, and the puck was picked up and put home by Brockett.
Colton Phinney improved to 4-16-2 on the year with 28 saves for the Tigers. Lewis made 16 saves for the Golden Knights.
