Babson’s Bobby Weston scored the game-winning goal with two-and-a-half minutes left in the third period as the Beavers beat Skidmore 3-2 in the ECAC East quarterfinals.
That goal lifted Babson into a 3-1 lead. That let the Beavers survive Joe Ziolkowski’s second goal for the Thorobreds at the 19:43 mark.
John Lobisser and Eric Bookbinder also scored for Babson.
