CANTON, N.Y. — Quinnipiac entered the final weekend of the regular season one point out of the final home-ice spot for the first round of the ECAC Hockey playoffs.

Two third-period goals helped the Bobcats rally for a 3-2 win at St. Lawrence Friday night, putting QU in a position to host a playoff series entering the final game of the season.

Chase Priskie’s power-play goal tied it for Quinnipiac 12:52 into the final period, while Nick Jermain scored the game-winning goal at 18:36. It was the second goal of the night for the Bobcats sophomore.

Brogan Rafferty and Odeen Tufto each had two assists for Quinnipiac, while Andrew Shortridge made 28 saves for the win. Arthur Brey had 32 saves for the Saints, while Michael Laidley and Ryan Garvey each scored.
