MARQUETTE, Mich. — Darien Craighead scored his 17th goal of the season at the 4:40 mark of the third period to give Northern Michigan the win on Friday.
Michigan Tech’s Brent Baltus scored the game’s first goal at the 6:05 mark of the second period. Northern Michigan’s Robbie Payne scored his 20th goals of the season near the midpoint of the game to tie the score at one apiece.
Northern Michigan goaltender Atte Tolvanen had 17 saves, Michigan Tech’s Devin Kero had 25.
