After hanging four goals on Michigan on Friday, Ohio State tallied five goals as the No. 7 Buckeyes completed the sweep over the No. 15 Wolverines with a 5-3 victory at Value Center Arena in Columbus, Ohio, on Saturday.
After Jack Becker scored for Michigan to get the team’s first goal of the weekend, Ohio State’s offensive prowess showed again. Freddy Gerard netted the Buckeyes first two goals. Ronnie Hein would score the eventual game-winner at the 13:12 mark of the second. Brendon Kearney and Mason Jobst would add insurance goals.
