After holding a 2-1 advantage at the second intermission, the Badgers scored three goals in the third period to pull away from the Spartans. Sean Dhooghe, Trent Frederic, Ryan Wagner, JD Greenway, and Seamus Malone all tallied for Wisconsin, while goalie Kyle Hayton made 16 saves.
