A pair of goals by Ted Hart helped lift Yale to a much-needed 5-1 win over Colgate on Saturday at Ingalls Rink. Hart put the Bulldogs ahead 1-0 at 14:59 of the first period before Joe Snively doubled the lead to 2-0 at 13:30 of the second. Hart’s second of the game just 39 seconds into the third pushed the lead to three. Trevor Cosgrove cut the deficit to 3-1 for Colgate with a goal on a power play at 15:16, but an empty-net goal by Robbie Demontis at 18:23 followed by an insurance tally from Mitchell Smith at 19:23 secured the victory for Yale.
