Gerald Mayhew scored in the first, Craig Pelfey got the second period goal, and Mitch Maloney put the game away with the third goal in the third period.

Bowling Green scored 4 unanswered goals in the third period to erase a 1-0 Charger lead to win 4-1. Tyler Spezia scored the game winner at 9:15 of the 3rd. Kurt Gosslin scored the Chargers goal at 12:59 of the second to give the Chargers that 1-0 lead. The Falcons have now won 3 straight games.
No. 15 Minnesota State 4, No. 7 Minnesota 1
The Mavericks got a pair of goals in the first and second period to defeat in state rival Minnesota 4-1. Brad McClure led the way with a pair of goals and Jason Pawloski made 25 saves. Tommy Novak scored for the Gophers.
No. 13 Bemidji State 2, Northern Michigan 1
The 13th ranked Beavers scored 2 third period goals to come from behind and beat the Wildcats 2-1. Brendan Harms and Gerry Firzgerald(game winner) scored goals just over three minutes apart in the third. Michael Bitzer made 16 saves for the Beavers while Atte Tolvanen made 28 saves for Northern Michigan.
