PRINCETON, N.J. — Stu Wilson scored twice and Chris Izmirlian tallied three assists as No. 7 Yale defeated Princeton 6-0 on Friday night.
The Bulldogs’ offense netted four goals in the first period, as JM Piotrowski, Rob O’Gara, Henry Hart and Carson Cooper scored to give Yale a commanding 4-0 lead.
Wilson padded the lead in each of the last two stanzas, netting his seventh and eighth goals of the year.
Alex Lyon improved to 19-4-4 in the victory for the Bulldogs, stopping all 20 shots to earn the shutout.
Colton Phinney made 44 saves for Princeton.
