GLENDALE, Ariz. — Brent Baltus, Alex Gillies and Shane Hanna each had a goal and an assist in Michigan Tech’s 4-2 victory over Connecticut on Friday in the semifinals of the Desert Hockey Classic.
Dylan Steman also scored for Michigan Tech (12-7-2), which got 19 saves from Jamie Phillips.
Patrick Kirkland and Spencer Naas scored for UConn (6-13-1). Rob Nichols stopped 25 shots.
