ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Brett Cameron scored four goals for Alaska-Anchorage, but a goal by Bemidji State’s Charlie O’Connor with 2:03 remaining forced a 4-4 tie Saturday night.
Cameron, who had one goal in the first 14 games this season, was the first Seawolves player to score four times in a game since 1995, when David Vallieres did against Michigan Tech.
Cameron’s third goal Saturday gave Alaska-Anchorage a 3-1 lead early in the second period.
Brendan Harms and Brett Beauvais scored the second and third power-play goals of the game for the Beavers later in the second period to tie the score.
Cameron finished his four-goal performance with a power-play goal in the third period, but the Seawolves couldn’t hold the lead late.
