Marks tallied the only goal of the first period, as a scramble in the crease left an opening on Kimberly Newell’s stick side, leaving room for Marks to poke home her seventh goal of the year.

The second started fast and furious, as Princeton scored just eight seconds into the period. Hilary Lloyd took a pass from Kelsey Kolzer and Jamie McDonell right off the faceoff and beat goaltender Carmen MacDonald on the short side with a shot from the circle. But Jacqueline Wand regained the lead for the Saints just 41 seconds later on deflection from Kennedy Marchment and Megan Armstrong.

After Webster gave the Saints the first two-goal lead of the game at 10:45, Princeton answered back with a two-goal rally of their own, as Brianna Leahy and Molly Contini scored to send the teams back to the locker room knotted 3-3.

A power-play goal by Kailee Heidersbach, and a stop by MacDonald on a penalty shot awarded to Cristin Shanahan gave St. Lawrence all of the momentum it needed to tally four unanswered goals in the third. Kayla Raniwsky, Webster and Sydney Bell tallied the final three goals for the Saints.

MacDonald finished the game with 25 saves, and improved to 6-4-1 overall in the win for St. Lawrence.

Newell made 35 saves for Princeton.
