STEVENS POINT, Wis. — Courtney Umland scored twice, and Alise Riedel made 30 saves as St. Thomas earned a spot in the NCAA semifinals with a 5-0 victory over Wisconsin-Stevens Point on Friday.
Umland put the Tommies ahead in the first period and added an empty-net goal for a 4-0 lead.
Paige Baldwin, Karina Marette and Rachel Friberg also scored for St. Thomas (20-5-3).
Janna Beilke-Skoug stopped 33 shots for the Pointers (19-6-4).
