No. 3 Yale trailed 3-0 and 4-3 but rallied for a 5-4 victory over Princeton on Sunday on Chris Cahill’s goal with 1:53 remaining.
Rob Kleebaum scored twice and Mike Kramer added a goal to put the Tigers (15-10-2, 10-8-2 ECAC Hockey) ahead 3-0 in the first period, but the Bulldogs (22-5, 16-4) rallied to tie before the end of the frame on short-handed goals by Andrew Miller and Charles Brockett and a last-minute goal by Brian O’Neill.
Kleebaum completed the hat trick to put Princeton ahead 4-3 in the second period, but Kenny Agostino scored a power-play goal to tie things again.
Ryan Rondeau made 36 saves for Yale. Alan Reynolds stopped 27 shots for Princeton.
