Six different players tallied goals and junior Jamie Vanek made 21 saves as Wentworth (15-3-0, 8-1-0 ECAC Northeast) got back on track with a 6-0 win over Plymouth State (4-10-1, 4-6-0) at Matthews Arena.
The Leopards got on the board three times in the first period. Senior defenseman McGregor Chadwick scored the eventual game winner at 12:02 of the first, followed by a power-play goal by junior defenseman Zach Wotherspoon at 15:59.
The Leopards increased their lead to 3-0 with a goal by freshman forward Shawn Metheral.
Wentworth added a goal in the second as sophomore forward Alex Marinkovich scored a power-play goal at 1:49. The Leopards closed out the scoring with two in the third, as sophomore forward Ben Pierce scored at 14:31.
Senior goalie Larry Forgue made 55 saves for Plymouth State.
