Senior Eric Bookbinder scored a natural hat trick in the second period to lift Babson to a 6-2 victory over Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in an ECAC East game.
Senior Bobby Weston scored the first goal five minutes into the first period. After senior assistant captain Bryan Bufkin opened the second period with a goal to make it 2-0, Bookbinder rattled off three straight to give the Beavers a comfortable five-goal cushion. Babson got one more score from sophomore Andy Dratch in the third period.
Babson junior Greg Berard opened made 35 saves.
