The Winnipeg Jets announced Tuesday they have signed Michigan freshman defenseman Jacob Trouba to an undisclosed contract. According to NHL.com, the New Jersey Devils on Wednesday signed Michigan junior defenseman Jon Merrill to a three-year, entry-level contract.
