Northern Michigan’s Thurber out for CCHA playoffs with broken ankle
Northern Michigan senior forward and leading scorer Matt Thurber will not play in this weekend’s CCHA first-round playoff series against Michigan or the rest of the postseason after suffering a broken right ankle at practice Tuesday, according to the Mining Journal.
CCHA doles out one-game bans to Ferris State’s Klecha, Kirzinger, Western Michigan’s Kovacs
