Charron loses battle with cancer

According to WHEC.com, former Massachusetts-Lowell skater Craig Charron lost his battle with stomach cancer today in Rochester, N.Y. He was just 42 years old. The RIT men’s team raised $6,938.18 for Massachusetts-Lowell alum Craig Charron, who is battling stomach cancer, through the sale of special game-worn jerseys from RIT’s home opener at a sold-out Blue Cross Arena last Saturday night.
