St. Scholastica has chosen Mark Wick as its men’s hockey coach. Wick, a 1985 St. Scholastica graduate, and a two-time NCHA all-academic team honoree, was an assistant coach at Augsburg from 1990-95 and at Wisconsin-Superior from 1996-2000. Recent changes behind the bench at a pair of Western schools have kept the Division III coaching carousel in motion. Preseason coaches’ polls were released for the ECAC East, ECAC West, SUNYAC and NCHA, and in all cases the coaches don’t see a lot changing at the top in their respective leagues.
