UNH Takes Hockey East Crown

New Hampshire scored three goals in the first seven-plus minutes of the game, then never looked back en route to a 5-2 win over Boston College. The victory earned the Wildcats the Hockey East regular-season title.

Maine Dominates BU In Bizarre Game

Maine beat Boston University 9-6 in a sloppy, strange game Friday night at Walter Brown Arena, leaving both teams in the Hockey East title hunt but looking up at league leader New Hampshire. Linesman Bob Bernard was being kept at a local hospital after an abdominal injury suffered on the ice.
