ECAC Hockey announced Tuesday that Colgate sophomore defender Olivia Zafuto has been assessed a one-game suspension as the result of her actions in the Colgate-RIT game from Saturday, Nov. 5.
The league action was taken after review of a contact to the head incident that occurred in the game.
Based upon the league’s action, Zafuto is not eligible to compete in the Raiders’ next game on Friday, Nov. 11, when Colgate hosts Yale.
