Northland has named Seamus Gregory as its new head coach.
Gregory served as head coach at Williston State the last three years and while there, he built the first hockey program at the school and was the 2012 NJCAA national runner-up in his first year. In both 2013 and 2014, his teams won the NJCAA national championship.
“Seamus is a proven winner and recruiter and inspires confidence about the future of Northland hockey,” said Northland co-director of athletics Steve Wammer in a statement.
“Seamus will be a great addition to our department,” added Kim Falkenberg, co-director of athletics. “He is an outgoing, determined and passionate coach that will bring positive influence to the program.”
Prior to coming to Williston State, Gregory was an assistant coach and interim head coach at Lake Forest College for three years.
