The Big Ten announced Tuesday that Wisconsin junior forward Roman Ahcan has been suspended for one game as a result of an incident that occurred in the game against Arizona State on January 17.

The action was taken by the conference after a review of an incident that occurred near the 7:23 mark of the third period where Ahcan was assessed a major penalty for contact to the head and a game misconduct.

Ahcan is ineligible to play in Wisconsin’s next game against Penn State on January 21.
