The Big Ten announced Saturday that Wisconsin junior forward Linus Weissbach has been suspended for one game as a result of an incident that occurred in the game against Ohio State on Jan. 10.
The action was taken by the conference after a review of the play that occurred near the 3:28 mark of the third period and resulted in Weissbach receiving a major penalty for hitting from behind and a game misconduct.
Weissbach is ineligible to play in tonight’s game against Ohio State.
