College Hockey America announced its preseason coaches’ poll Monday and with three first-place votes, Syracuse was chosen to win the conference during the 2015-16 season. Mercyhurst (two) and Rochester Institute of Technology (one) earned the other first-place choices.
Boston College garnered eight of nine first-place votes in the Hockey East women’s coaches’ poll announced Monday. Boston University earned the other first-place nod.
The Golden Gophers got all 15 first-place votes.
