Third-year Maine coach Barr agrees to contract extension through Dec. 31, 2028, as Black Bears returning to national contention

Maine announced on Wednesday that men’s hockey head coach Ben Barr has agreed to a contract extension. The new agreement will retroactively run from Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2028 and will replace Barr’s current contract.
