Minnesota senior Courtney Kennedy took home Player of the Year honors, at the second annual WCHA Women’s Championship Banquet today. The Woburn, Mass., native led all defenseman in league scoring with 35 points on 10 goals and 25 assists.
Middlebury’s Michelle Labbe led the way in the ECAC Women’s Division III awards presentations, earning Player of the Year honors. Tufts forward Jason Boudrow has been selected as the ECAC/CCM Player of the Year, in voting announced today. The junior helped the Jumbos capture the Division III Northeast regular season title (15-1-1) while leading the nation in points per game (2.83).

Nebraska-Omaha senior Allan Carr, with the team from its infancy in Division I, has been forced to retire after suffering his third concussion this season. Carr made the announcement to his teammates at practice on Wednesday.
