The defenseman was a first-team all-NCHC selection last season.
Union has promoted Joe Dumais to associate head coach after four seasons as an assistant. Dumais has worked with Dutchmen forwards and special teams since joining the program in 2011.
The second overall pick won the Hobey Baker Award in his only season with the Terriers.
In 2014-15, he helped the Huskies to their first NCAA tournament appearance in 34 years.
Former Boston College defenseman Patrick Wey has retired at age 24 because of concussion issues, The Patriot-News reported. Wey, who won national championships with the Eagles in 2010 and 2012, had his only two professional seasons cut short by head injuries.
The former Quinnipiac player led Neumann in the 2013-14 season.
He replaces Neil Sinclair, who left Skidmore to take over at Middlebury.
They’ll be inducted on Nov. 9 in Toronto.
