The Gophers are going to the Frozen Four for the first time since 2014 after getting 24 saves from Justen Close in beating the Broncos.
The Broncos won their first NCAA tournament game after seven losses despite the Huskies’ third-period rally in the Worcester Regional opener.
All 16 teams in the field were on the final line of at least one bracket in the contest.
