Here’s a look at the Wolverines ahead of the 2022 NCAA Men’s Frozen Four in Boston, where they play Denver in the semifinals.
The Wolverines’ quest for their first NCAA title since 1998 will continue in Boston despite seeing a four-goal lead narrowed to one by the Bobcats.
The Wolverines are into their 26th Frozen Four despite nearly losing a four-goal lead in the third period against the Bobcats.
Some quick notes on the four teams that advanced to Boston for the April 7 national semifinals.
Goals by Garrett Van Wyhe and Ethan Edwards 39 seconds apart early in the first period set the Wolverines on their way in the Allentown Regional semifinals.
All 16 teams in the field were on the final line of at least one bracket in the contest.
