The 2013 U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame induction ceremony is set for Monday, Dec. 2, in Detroit. The class of 2013 includes Cindy Curley (Providence), Bill Guerin (Boston College), Peter Karmanos, Jr., Ron Mason (St. Lawrence, Lake Superior State, Bowling Green, Michigan State) and Doug Weight (Lake Superior State).

AHL Hall of Fame to add Michigan State, Minnesota alumni

The American Hockey League announced Thursday that Ken Gernander (Minnesota, 1987-91) and Peter White (Michigan State, 1988-92) are two of the four inductees into the AHL Hall of Fame class of 2013. The ceremony will take place Jan. 28, 2013 in Providence, R.I. during the AHL All-Star Classic festivities.

Nebraska-Omaha assistant Renfrew takes Jets’ scouting position

Nebraska-Omaha assistant coach Brian Renfrew has left the Mavericks after accepting a scouting position with the Winnipeg Jets, according to the Omaha World-Herald.
