The University of Findlay has become the third school in a year to announce its intention to drop its hockey program, joining Fairfield and Iona.

UAA Loses Pair

Alaska-Anchorage assistant captain John Hopson has quit the team and returned home, and sophomore defenseman Matt Hanson was ruled academically ineligible, according to the Anchorage Daily News. For the first time in history, the United States has won the World Junior Championships, doing it in dramatic fashion.
