Harvard goaltender Merrick Madsen stopped all 13 shots he faced in the second period, and the Crimson were tied with Minnesota Duluth 1-1 through 40 minutes Thursday in the Frozen Four semifinals.

Thursday Frozen Fest canceled because of inclement weather

CHICAGO — Thursday’s Frozen Fest outside of the United Center has been canceled because of forecast inclement weather. Forecasts call for gusts up to 50 mph and a chance of rain in Chicago on Thursday. The event is still scheduled to be held before Saturday’s national championship game in United Center Parking Lot C.
