The decision by the New England Hockey Conference was one factor that led Holy Cross to decide to upgrade it’s women’s program and seek membership in either the CHA, ECAC, or Hockey East. Bob Saunders, who served on the staffs of Massachusetts-Boston, Holy Cross, Rensselaer, Northeastern, passed away Nov. 3 at the age of 84.
