With playoffs starting this weekend in three leagues, some teams could have their seasons end, allowing others to move up.
With three No. 1 seeds and one No. 4 seed from the NCHC, would the committee favor protecting the 1-vs.-16 matchup or avoiding first-round intra-conference games?
