Northern Michigan lived up to its reputation for work ethic, rallying to beat Maine 5-4 in a hard-fought final at the second Everblades College Classic in Estero, Fla. The Wildcats won their second one-goal decision of the weekend on Bryce Cockburn’s third-period goal.
After an embarrassing 6-2 loss Saturday to Maine, the Ohio State Buckeyes rebounded with a 2-0 shutout of the Cornell Big Red in the consolation game of the Everblades College Classic.
